The standard package includes a custom tune file for a compatible ECU that has already been unlocked. If your ECU is still locked, select the package that includes the ECU unlock service.

The ECU unlock service adds to the tune-file price. If you are unsure whether your ECU is unlocked, contact JS Speed Shop with your VIN and ECU identification before ordering.

Fitment Requirements

Mercedes offered both Standard Output and High Output 2.0L diesel configurations during these model years. Compatibility cannot be determined from the year and Sprinter series alone.

Before the tune file is prepared, the customer may be required to provide:

• Full VIN

• Exact model year and Sprinter series

• Standard Output or High Output engine specification

• Clear ECU label information or ECU identification readout

• Original stock ECU file

• Details of any previous tuning or ECU modifications

Choose the Correct Package

Already Unlocked - Tune File Only

Select this package only when the vehicle has a compatible ECU that has already been professionally unlocked.

The base package does not include ECU unlocking.

Locked - Tune File + Unlock Service

Select this package when the compatible ECU is still locked and requires unlocking before the tune file can be installed.

The ECU unlock service adds C$499. Instructions for completing the unlock process will be provided after the order and compatibility information have been reviewed. Do not ship an ECU or any additional module until JS Speed Shop provides instructions.

Calibration Information

This is a stock-power calibration for supported competition and off-road configurations. Available calibration functions depend on the ECU software and vehicle configuration confirmed during the compatibility review.

A tune file does not repair damaged sensors, wiring, injectors, turbochargers or other mechanical problems. It also does not automatically diagnose or repair existing diagnostic trouble codes. Existing vehicle faults should be diagnosed before tuning.

How the Process Works

1. Select the correct ECU package.

2. Complete the order and provide the requested vehicle and ECU information.

3. JS Speed Shop reviews the information and confirms compatibility.

4. If ECU unlocking is required, follow the unlock instructions provided by JS Speed Shop.

5. The custom tune file is prepared after all required vehicle information, original files and ECU access requirements have been completed.

6. Install the file using compatible professional flashing equipment.

Processing time begins only after all required information and, when applicable, the ECU have been received.
