Company Founder, Engine Builder and Tuner

Jason Syvertsen

Jason began his racing journey at 19 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and his passion for the sport has only grown since. He started with street racing, piloting his 1970 Chevrolet Nova, and has since competed in a variety of racing classes, including Pro-Mod, Pro-Street, and Outlaw 275.

In the past five years, Jason has expanded his role in the racing world by tuning high-performance race cars for accomplished racers like Jeff Doyle, Paul Glandon, and Dan Provost. His expertise has contributed to multiple victories, whether he’s behind the wheel or behind the scenes as a tuner for race teams.

A career highlight came in 2016 when Jason set a new track record for Outlaw 275 E/T at Mission Raceway. What began as a garage hobby has evolved into a thriving career—Jason now operates a state-of-the-art Superflow Dyno Shop, combining his love for racing with cutting-edge technology.

Engine Building

With over 46 years of experience, this teams journey began in Burnaby, British Columbia, with a 1967 Chevrolet II. Over the decades, they’ve competed in various classes, including Super Pro, Super Gas, and Top Sportsman, and currently race a 2006 Pontiac GTO.

What started as a passion for racing quickly evolved into a lifelong career in 1974 at Competition Development in Surrey, British Columbia. There, they honed their expertise in engine building and high-performance tuning, laying the foundation for their extensive knowledge in the field.

Several years later, they brought their skills and dedication to the team at JS Motorsports. Today, their contributions in precision engine building and performance enhancements continue to drive success on and off the track.
