These instructions apply to Mercedes-Benz Sprinter W907 models from 2019 onward with the steering-wheel touch controls and dashboard display shown.
Before you begin

Park the Sprinter safely on level ground.

Select Park and apply the parking brake.

Turn on the ignition.

Do not operate the dashboard controls while driving.
Open the Service menu

Locate the instrument-display controls on the steering wheel.

Press the Home button, identified by the house symbol.

Swipe left or right across the small touch-sensitive control pad until Service is highlighted on the dashboard.

Press the touchpad to open the Service menu.
Check the AdBlue or DEF level

In the Service menu, swipe up or down until AdBlue or DEF is highlighted. The wording varies by market and vehicle configuration.

Press the touchpad to select it.

The dashboard will display AdBlue level with a gauge showing the approximate amount remaining.

Press the Back button to return to the Service menu.
AdBlue is also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid or DEF. The wording may differ slightly on Canadian and US Sprinter models.
Check the engine oil level

From the Service menu, swipe down to Engine oil level.

Press the touchpad to select it.

Wait while the vehicle measures the oil level.

The screen will display the result, such as Engine oil level OK, together with a level indicator between MIN and MAX.
If the system cannot provide a reading, follow the message shown on the dashboard. The engine may need to reach operating temperature or the vehicle may need to remain stationary before the measurement can be completed.
Important
This process only checks the current AdBlue and engine-oil levels. It does not diagnose an AdBlue, DPF, emissions-system or check-engine fault.
If the AdBlue level is adequate but a warning remains on the dashboard, the vehicle may have a sensor, SCR, emissions-system or related fault that requires proper diagnostic testing.
